What Omegomeet is
Omegomeet is a random 1v1 video chat that runs entirely in your browser. You press one button and we match you with a real person who is online at that moment — face to face, one on one. You can talk on video, switch to voice, or open with text. There is no sign-up form standing in front of your first call: guests start chatting right away, and creating an account only unlocks extras like saved preferences and your call history. For the full walkthrough, read how Omegomeet works.
Why two people, not a room
We deliberately built private calls for two instead of group rooms. In a room, everyone performs for an audience and the loudest person wins. A 1v1 video call works like a real conversation: you listen, you answer, and within a minute you know whether there is a connection. If there isn’t, the next stranger is one tap away. That simplicity is the whole product.
More than one way to talk
Not every conversation starts on camera. Every match on Omegomeet can open with text, switch to voice, or go straight to video — the format follows the comfort of the two people in the call, not the other way around. The same is true of devices: the whole experience runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet, or a desktop, with nothing to install. Wherever you are and however you prefer to talk, the next conversation stays one tap away.
The principles we run on
Three rules decide how Omegomeet gets built. Privacy by default: we ask for as little as possible — no account before your first call, no profile to fill in, and your camera and microphone are used only to carry the call you are in. Real people: every match is a human who is online right now, never a bot or a recording. Safety first: every call carries one-tap skip, block and report, and reports go to a 24/7 human moderation team, not an auto-responder.
Free to start, honestly
Your first matches are free — long enough to decide whether Omegomeet earns a place in your bookmarks. Longer sessions may use coins, our virtual credits, and every price is shown before you spend anything. We would rather be plain about that than hide it in fine print.
